Ebay's so annoying sometimes!
I've got a few things on there at the moment, under multiple item listings. Had somebody bidding for 8 of the items I'm selling... then all of a sudden she retracted her bids and used "cannot contact seller" as the reason!!!
She never tried contacting me, I checked the ebay message thingy and it's all working fine.... Silly moo......

I was selling the xbox live gold membership on ebay. (which i still have)
When it came to it i contacted the winner twice and had no response.
Such a waste of time and money.
I think some people do it just for a laugh, which is out of order. especially for those genuine people that really want to buy it.

...that's not a "joy stick"!......
I think the thing with flEabay, is that some people view it like a "wish list" and start ticking off every item they would like...........that they mostly can't afford, or are not actually willing spend any real money on. They seem to live in hope they will somehow get the item for free - even though they just bid XXX amount of pounds on it.
I guarantee that these same people complain and moan when some one else does it to them too!
Prolly the fact that they know it's not a legally binding contract, spurs them on to do this. They know the worst that will happen is a nasty comment on their feed back (which prolly hasn't got much on it anyway), and they can always create a new account.

I just sold a fridge freezer to some guy up North when I live in London and thought it was going to be a no brainer but he paid me the £26 by paypal and then called me to say it was for his aunt in London but she had just passed away and he no longer needed it but said I could keep the money and the fridge freezer.
So I sold it again this time to someone on the Isle of Wight but they called me and wanted me to keep it for a fortnight before they could collect but I had to say no as the missus was on my case as she wanted it out of the kitchen as the new one had taken its place.
I then sold it again in a 3 day auction to a guy down the road to me for £25 and he collected the same night so I got a result in all.
I also recently brought a walnut dash which arrived damaged and took 2 1/2 months to sort out but I eventually got a total refund and fixed the damage so just need to install the dash in the mini now.
