Hey, the rear numberplate on my mini is a stick on one but its REALLY stuck on, ther is a bit round the edge that is coming off but id like to know if im gonna destroy the paint if i rip it off or is it on mountings? im gonna remove it because there is a lot of water collecting behind it and im worried about rust, cheers

Its the same as the side stripes , use a hot air gun or hot water to soften the glue .

Try a bit of REALLY thin wire, and slip it over the back, and then slice the double sided tape with the wire like a cheese cutter!! works every time!

then there will be tape still stuck to the body work, i usualy get a scraper on it, but being VERY carefull not to cut into the body work!!
