i have a question concerning the change of a floor pan of a mini van from 1980.
i haven't seen it yet but the seller says it would be nice to replace the floorpan, so i'm looking into the options
i can get a rear floorpan cheap, can i fit a normal mini front one to it ? or are they special ? and isn't this the placee where the chassisnumber is stamped into the mini ?

as far as i'm aware the front floor plan in a van is the same as a saloon

the only place the chassisnumber is stamped is on the lip for the bonnet opening near the windscreen

And I'm sure that didn't start until after van production ceased.
