Is it ok to put the little K&N breather filters on to the breater system of the metroa turbo and block the inlet manifoldconnection? I did this originally and so i have them sat in the garage but I spoke to guys from avonbar and they said that they should not be used. However, i have seen them on pictures on turbos on the web.

Is it a good idea?

I want to fit an intercooler and there is a few too many tubes in the way. would like to do this to tidy things up a bit

I have had those little breathers fitted to my engine for years with no problems. Remove all the crappy pipes and put a breather on the cannister on the flywheel housing and one on the timing chain cover cannister. Job sorted !
