MY other half has just bought a new car that is currently on a sorn!
He has sent of the registers keepers thing and is now waiting for the log book to arrive!
Does he have to personally declare the car sorn or will it stay that way? I dont want him to get a fine?
Many thanks

i think if he's wanting it to stay SORN then he has to send off his own application.
It'll then be on record at his address and he'll get a letter of confirmation

Statutory off road notification, you need to state this if you have a car off the road and not taxed.sorry for being a pillock, but whats sorn???
It can be done on the DVLA website.
