mini turbo running problems......??

Hi I,ve just purchased a mini turbo 1970,which starts first time runs lovely and then cuts out after 2 mins,resarting with no problems before cuttins again.....any ideas where to start.......thanks.

I had this.. after a while when left to idle it slowly dies... Turned out to be a manifold leak for me.some begger had stolen my locating rings :thumbsup:

mite be wrong.. but im sure phil has the most excellent explanation! :blink:

It's not running really rich and fouling the plugs is it ? have you removed the plugs after it stalls and checked them ?
Will it drive at all ? or does it cutout if you give it any throttle ? is it just dying if you leave it idling ? can you keep it running with throttle ?

Mine does a similar thing (or it did in the cold), even when up to temperature, it would idle slower and slower and eventually die. Never did bother finding out why, don't think its doing it in the cold.
