I plan to spray tommrow.

I've re-fitted my bonnet and now have my big jacket back (long stor....well not a long story butt meh) and want to do the wings, valance, scuttle and bonnet. In one session.

Thing is I have sprayed the bonnet before. Sorta two or three coats. I kept spraying till it looked right. So will I have any problems with too much paint or do I have nothing to worry about.

Ta.

Dont get what you mean?

Do you mean will there be too much paint on the bonnet?

I doubt it, and I would flat it and paint it again to match the rest anyway.

The basic answer is yes, but it all depends on what state the bonnet was in prior to your first painting session.

I would also flat/prep the bonnet and repaint with the rest as this should ensure a correct colour match against the surrounding panels.

Regarding to many layers = the main problem is when you have a car that has been painted multiple times and has a serious amount of paint it can crack this is due to the various layers expanding and contracting at different rates.

dont loss heart mate,
take your time to do a good job.
the prep work is 90% of the finished job = bad prep will show in the final finish.
let us know how you get on

It's definitely not a good idea to keep piling paint on, but if it's properly keyed after each coat there shouldn't be any problem if it's the same type of paint used. To have 1 or two coats of paint on a vehicle is fine and I'm sure it's the case with 90% of all cars on the road due to various repairs carried out during some stage of their life. Ideally, you would bare metal the area, etch prime it, prime it and topcoat it. In really flash garages the you are only allowed to apply a certain depth of paint, which is measured with a paint depth gauge, but that's just to retain originality in finish and weight.
