Yo,

My spray gun leaked on the car. Got five or so blobs of paint. Do I wait for them to dry then ..... what?

Cheers for any advice.

What were you painting?

Metallic or solid?

If its solid they will flat out with a rubbing block and able to polish back.

If its metallic and its the basecoat, then it needs flatting and another coat or 2 before laquering.

If its metallic and its the laquer, chances are they will flat out with a rubbing block and polish back.

Primer, so block sander thing.

Where do I get one of them? Or is it just a block with some wet dry?

Ahh, primer.

Block of wood works, but if your doing alot of flatting.. like the whole car, spend a couple of 10er's and buy a couple rubbing blocks from a paint supplier.

Well worth it.

I use 320 to flat primer for solid colours and 1200 for metallics. But thats me. Others will suggest finer for both.
