Theres a virus going round at the moment over MSN.

You may get a message from one of your contacts saying something like 'Do you think this picture is too kinky for myspace?'

Then a file transfer will pop up as though your contact is sending you a pic. Its a zip file that if you accept the file it will download a password worm onto your computer and will attack yuor registry.


So just a quick heads up about this - a couple of my friends have just been hit by this over MSN!

Yeah I've seen this virus before like. Had someone try send me something similar the other week. I was wary because I'd had the person deleted from my contacts for.. well, years

I got some random person trying to send me a zip file saying ''Hey, is this you in the photo, its been so long since I saw you I wasnt sure'' I never talk to that online contact and realised it was a virus thing!!

there are also other ones like "do you like my hair in this pic" or "im thinking of buying this car, what you think"

Yea, I got one too from someone whose old email addres was still in my contacts list but no longer used that address, it said something like "new house pics", but I knew they hadn't moved so I deleted it without opening it.

Some sneaky people out there!!

i got hit with this last week and fell for it thought it was my brother inlaw sending me a link. I had to change my pass word and that seemed to sort it and also ran a scan.
