well what i am after doin is building the head to go on my 998 and because my brother is puttin a vtec into his mini i will be havin his 1275 which i will be boring out to 1430 and will want to take the bmw head off my 998 and puttin twin weber on the head and put it on the 1430 also my mini isnt unleaded i thought might as well do it because the bmw head is unleaded also what mods have to be done to the head to make it fit?

the heads are cheap and use bike carbs or injectors and ecu, i dont think webers are available but could be wrong,
i think you maybe thinking of a seven or eight port head, the difference being that the bmw is overhead cam, new timing parts belts and machining is needed to fit the head oil pipes + electronic oil pump and fuel pump,
7 + 8 ports are drop on(sort of), different cam and exhaust on 8 port needed,
the cost is very high indeed, id say 1500 for the bmw / 7 port conversion and about 3000 for 8 port!!!

designed that way to keep weber carburettors under the bonnet without mods
i was going to run 35mm jenvy throttle bodies which also run weber DCOE stud patern...now im just going to make my own tho
