As the title anybody heard of Lindo Guitars...found them on Ebay, basically they make their own guitars/bass guitars....

Looking at a Bass Guitar for my Dad for Christmas....he's a complete beginner having never played one before so looking for a relatively cheap one.

Not for that low price, that Washburn was my first bass, and it was great! i then sold that and bought a MusicMan bass and now i'm going back to Washburn with their Force 4.

to be honest, if you want a decent beginners bass, buy the Washburn, it's a brand name and it's a well built bass :)

That Lindo Guitar is a good basic Guitar but you can get cheaper & better for a beginer.

if you buy something super cheap then it will most definatly be harder to play than something low end of a decent name.
not to mention it will sound poo.

You can pick up cheap secand hand Guitars. In our local paper you can get loads of cheap bass guitars for peanuts.

My last Bass i got was a Gibson New price is over a grand I got it for £125 and only 4 months old and hardly used. So what i say is look for used Bass Guitars. you can get some good buys.
