The fact you came on to an online Mini forum to state that opinion completely negates it. Sorry.

Yeah, well ok, argument sort of accepted.

BUT,

I'm only on here for very short periods of time.

AND

People that play these games seem to play them for hours.

AND

At least on here there is an amount of conversation and interaction with real people. It can also sometimes prove to be enlightening/informative and therefore increases ones knowledge.

The defenece rests.

No further questions, your honour :(

I don't have any of these consoles (got my very first games console 2 years ago, a DS) but don't have a life either, I chose TMF... :)

Hmmmm - seems as though this topic's been hijacked somewhat. ;D

All I was saying was that I managed to get the toy of the year when it was claimed there aren't any! Oh well, another topic dead. :)

Anyway, some people like video games, some don't. Agreed?! :(

It wouldn't surprise me if it was a marketing ploy.

"Oh no, everywhere is running out, we better go buy one quick...."

I would dare to suggest that it was working! :(

Its been the toy of the year for over a year now...that's not a marketing ploy thats a good product aimed at a the right market with the right features.

It has everything you want in a casual gaming system. Which is what alot of people are looking for they don't want the fancy graphics just the fun gameplay.

Anywho back on topic there are a few about you just have to know where to look...

http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/ is a good site if you don't know where to look :(

I managed to get some off a mate from France. One for me and the kids :( and the rest were sold to lads in the bar. £250 with sports pack and 5 games. £40 for an extra controller and 9 more games. With receipts for guarantee.
A mate on holiday Canada asked if I want any more.

Hey, Ian. Can get Nintendo Wiis here for 269.83 canadian dollars at Walmart. That's about 135 pounds sterling. Interested?

Regards

Brian

I hadn't heard about Wiis being out of stock anywhere in particular. It's the DS that seems impossible to get as far as I can tell.
