Promised her indoor’s years ago I’d sort out some wrought iron work to go between some brick pillars I’d built to finish off the edge of the patio area. Finally it struck me three large circles the wife agreed the rough outline design and off I set.
The first was three circles each getting smaller inside each other maybe have the centre one so it spins?
The second would represent the sun with a full and half moon inside.?
Finally the third I wanted to make a big web with a big spider in it but make the web in the same way you create a pattern with a Spiro graph straight line but the illusion of a curve?
All of which was very exciting and very ambitious for me, my local wrought iron/metal fabricator chappie is a great guy full of helpful advice and tips, so with his recommendations I bought the metal of him and set of home.
Never ever again will I attempt to make a spider’s web in that fashion as every piece of metal was a different length and every mitre was different to each other?
Then there was the welding it together don’t ask I still have night mares trying to get it right.
After it was all put together I took the three circles to him to have them taken away and be galvanised another worthwhile project done.

Did I mention as it was this time of year and as it’s the wifes birthday at the same time I made her a sword to put in a stone in the garden.
Well I think she preferred it to the set of pans I got her one-year (only as a joke) she didn’t laugh though???????????????????

thats alot of effort for her indoors. Surely a subscription to heat would have been easier
