Im looking for some seats similar to these - Leather Seats
Black and cream/white leather interior (or similar as long as its leather) but looking for a full set, including door panels etc, for a reasonable price. I really would like it as cheap as possible.
What options would i have?

If you want the whole lot inb one package then you could look at the huddersfield spares full interiors including seats, subframes, rear seat cover and doorcards. The reclining cobra seats and the classic cobra seats still offer full access to the rear... http://www.minispare...p;sub_cat_id=20
If your not looking at bucket style seats then you could look at buying a good nick second hand set of standard leather seats from a late cooper. You see the odd set up for sale here on the forum and on ebay too.

I agree with minimadmike, your best bet is to look for a good second hand set from a later mini. I bought a full set of Paul Smith seats this year for my mini for £450.

in a village called Leek Wootton nearby Warwick, do you reckon its worth going round a scrappy to look for some seats? my sister has a orange VW beetle and was able o get a full set of seats for about £50 and they were pretty clean condition, do you reckon its worth spending £450 on seats?? I want to keep my mini as long as possible but do you reckon it would be worth it when selling it on??

I wouldn't seel my mini with the seats in as you wouldn't get your money back, I'd put the standard seats back in as standard minis sell much better and then sell my seats on which I'd easily get my £450 back

But yeah it depends what you want - if you want leather cooper seats then you will be looking at about £400+ new - but used sets can be found cheaper than that. You could also get half leather seats too. But you can pick up some nice cobra cream recliners for a similar price and they look really nice and classy - especially with matching door cards

The seat set you linked to at the top of the thread Mat9992004 is just a set of covers for late Mini (1996 on) seat frames. They won't fit your 1990 seat frames.
If you want good quality cover sets there are now none better in my opinion than those from Style To Design. They make new custom moulded foams to fit the original Rover frames of the type you have, which are amazingly comfortable and well boulstered. They also make new foams for the rear which are far superior to the original. Our new set were delivered a few weeks back now and are waiting to be installed in the new year and they are truly excellent. You retain all the convenience of the original seats (reclining, easy rear access, headrests that actually have a purpose) and the original fitment but get far better supporting, more comfortable and better looking seats. They are fantastic and may seem pricey but are worth every penny. Considering it cost roughly the same as getting a set of Cobras and a Cobra retrimmed rear bench (properly done, not the nasty slip cover you get in the generic sets from Mini Sport and others) which were badly put together and lasted less than 18 months they aren't bad at all.
The photos on their website may be a little underwhelming but that's largely due to the colour of the seats they have shown, ours look fantastic in black and deep red. Also I think the rear bench in the photos doesn't show their own rear moulding which is quite new and maybe the front mouldings have been changed a little too sice the pictures were taken.

In my opinion nothing comes close to the twin post headrest SPI type seats in a mini. They are the most comfy I've ever had and because they are meant for a mini they actually look and fit right, not out of scale like some aftermarket seats can.
You can pick up cloth versions of these seats from as little as £100 out of a later sprite/tahiti/rio/35 with slightly plusher versions from the later mayfairs usually fetching more. Then theres the spi cooper and equinox half leathers, the cooper half leathers being my favourate mini seats, more so than full leather. Unfortunatly I only have a passenger side seat aswell as a full tahiti interior. I hope to get the tahiti seats retrimmed with cloth (looking for the tartan used in the mk5 golf gti for the centres) as I'm not a leather *woman of ill repute*!!
