Does anybody know of a place in the midlands, around stafford that does work on cylinder heads? i have a 1275 A+ and want to take the head to stage 3.

Dont know whether to buy a leaded stage 3 or to get the work done to the currnet head.

Also what price is it to port and polish the head with new valves, guides, seals and springs?

thanks

You'll be looking at several hundred quid for a fully worked head. Autosprint in Birmingham did a nice head at a good price for me but that was 20 years ago!

There is a bloke that has a garage that does mainly minis in Stafford or at least he was still there two years ago when I lived there. He is located just behind the petrol station just around the corner from Asda heading towards the university, you have to drive down the side of the petrol station to get to him. He should be able to help you out.

purchase a ready worked head as yours might be cracked and its cheaper as you get sercharge back ..............
