Im decorating my room over the holidays, have moved it all around and ready for the new tv at xmas!
But im really stuck on colours, ATM its Blue, i want to tone it down with nice light colours, 3 walls light and 1 feature wall.
Trouble is, iv got blue carpet, and theres nothing wrong with it so not changing it.
Any ideas guys im sooooo stuck!!!

Your best bet with a blue carpet (depending on the shade) is to go for soft browns and mushrooms.... it will calm the blue down and warm up the room at the same time. If you paint one wall mushroom and the others cream, go for accesories in the room with blue and browns in them to tie it all in

*edit* added a pic for inspiration.... It's just to show you how the two colours can look nice together

We did think Brown and cream, tried a tester and the brown looks like diarrhoea lol!!
Just gotta find the right brown i think, as long as it will look right with the carpet :S

nice but well cold. be alright in greece!Yeah, looking at the carpet now, I'd do the walls cream, with the wall behind the head of your bed pale brown (mushroom)... then get a nice blue and brown striped throw for the bed or something... not too girly

Yeah, but that was just to show the two colours together... there are blue walls in that pic!

If Mark uses a soft mushroom like; Dulux 'Rum Caramel 4' on the feature wall and the lightest shade 'Rum caramel 6' on the other 3 walls it should be nice and warm....

Then maybe a few accesories like these on the bed.... you shouldn't even need to get new curtains

Cushion covers:

Fleecy blanket:
