can dtm cup mirrors be mad to fit the mini? if so how and any pictures of this?

I'd have thought so - weld a triangular plate into the corner of the window and fix mirrors to them? just make sure the fixings are countersunk so they dont clash with the glass.

in another thread rosslin racing has got them fitted to his R1 project car - maybe ask him................

i used to have a set of these, i cant remember where i got them from, but they had a flap at the upright window frame section, that you could fit the wing mirror to the door with. and then another bit the you could bolt through the original mini wing mirror holes.

EDIT:

You can kind of the the bottom flap in the pic, and where the wing mirror meets door frame/window frame there is a flap and you use this to secure the wing mirror in place.
