do i need anything for it? some particular wax?? i used turtle wax and autoglym but they both left like a white powdery substance which doesn't come off! i only used it on one side on the bonnet, so is there something specific i need for matt paint?

You can't "wax" as such, Matte-Colours...
Although you can wax Matte, its not going to look very nice afterwords...

If ya want to clean Matte paintwork, the best stuff I've heard of to use, is Mr.Shine No joke!
It'll wax, clean, and keep the dust off for ages... but seriously, its the only thing I've heard that keep Matte-paint looking fresh...

My reasorce is from the Veedub world... and they seem to have more rat cars than the Mini sence.

obv, wash it as you would normally... then sheen it?

Try it on a "not in the eye" bit first, just incase what I've read is aload of bull....
