Anyone got any steps, tips or favourite ways on doing the following?
Changing floor mounts, changing tower mounts to alloy ones, changing teardrop mounts, changing rear subframe bolts and bushes?
Ready to attack them tomorrow or the day after armed with a jack, all necessary sockets etc.
Cheers

Any tips?

Remember the tower mounts (the ones on the frame, not the top ones) are located over a lip so they won't just slide out of the gap, you need to lift them over the lip and have enough space to drop the solid ones over it. So you may need to lower the frame a little in order to swap them out.

i was the other person doing work and getting sore knees with dave 1293
for undoing rear subframe bolts, try knocking them and surrounding areas with a hammer first and spray with lots and lots of wd40 or equivalent. undoo them very slowly and steadily, also if u do get bolts that snap u can get to the other side to replace the nut from inside the rear door pockets, with a little bit of carefull chiseling/grinding/levering of course!!! try not to crease the paint on the rear quarter skin!!! :S:S i almost did!!
msg me if u need more help, p.s. if its a job you've never done before, leave lots more time than you thought you'd need as most things dont like coming off rear subframe wise, they just break!!
:saywhat: good luck!!
