hey guys,, my garage which the mini is in has no power with it being a council owned garage,, im gonna replace the front end at some point soon and will need to remove the old panels.. my parents wont allow me to leave the mini at home over night so i would have to get the old front off and new one on in a day, but i dont want to rush so im not gonna try it...

however i was thinking i could do it in the garage where it is with some hand tools,, what type of tools would be best for removing the panels by hand?????

Your best bet is probs to get your hands on a generator...

im getting a removable front so i wont neccesarily need power for everything,, but granted a small genny could be the answer,, my only worry is that someone will complain to the council about the noise and i would lose my garage as it clearly states they are for parking of vehicles only and are not to be used as a workshop... so im a bit stuck

a small genny like this suitable,, i reckon it should suffice for small drill/ grinder etc... and possible low voltage lighting

If there's a machine mart in your area go down and have a look, with todays technology you can probably pick somthing fairly quiet up although it will cost.

For pannel remove just a big hammer, small cold chisel and a pair of gloves.

the only hand tools you need are a hammer, bolster chisel, cold chisel, hacksaw, large pair of pincers and a universal dolly.
