>_< Hello, I'm looking to swap my high end Kona Stinky for a 1275 spi engine that can just slot straight into my engine bay.

The spec is as follows:

Kona Stinky 05 with Fox DHX 5 (khaki colour, about 10 rides old).
Marazoochi 66rc's 150mm of plush travel.
Mavic D321 on Hope Big'un rear wheel.
Double Track on Hope Bulb front wheel.
Hayes HFX 9 Front and Rear brakes.
Shimano Tiagra Rear short roadie mech and cassette.
Raceface Evolve DH cranks.
Blackspire CS-1 chain device.
Halfords Short Stem and Bar (basically Tioga just with Halfords written on it).
Halfords X Platform Pedals.
Odi lock-on grips.

Pictures to follow.

Basically as the story goes, my current engine is all ceased and rubbish, so I'm either going to sell the bike for funds for a new engine or swapping it for an engine.

What have you got?

Thanks for looking, Tom.

Does it have to be a SPI engine?

Well, i have a SPI at the moment, so that is what i understand (if that makes any sense at all!) How much difference is there between the two types. Is there any advantage of a MPI? Or what you have?
