
Windscreen Wipers

I have been told it could be the 'wiper motor park switch' is this right or coiuld it be something else?
where is this part on the car? as i dont want to have to go snooping around for hours to find it lol.

Sorry hi-jacked your thread but I'll be interested to see any further suggestions than checking the park switch, stalk and motor, oh I've even replaced the connectors on the motor for the washer bottle too but that hasn't made a difference.

I know for a fact that you need to grease the rackI used to have a problem like this too. Id push mine to any constant (medium speed/fast speed) they would go back to the normal position fine, but If I pushed it down for a single wipe it used to get stuck wherever I left it..
Then one day, it just started working fine again!!
Mine were doing the same so I pulled everything out and greased the rack and wheels and now is fine

EDIT: Isnt it so annoying, having to time the windscreen washers, as the wiper arms get in the way! ?

As has also been mentioned, you need to periodically take the wiper rack out and grease it along with the wheel boxes.
