Having problems with my fuel gauge. At the beginning it didn't go past half way when the tank was full. i then replaced the float in the fuel tank and it made i worst. It now doesn't go beyond quater of a tank. so if someone can help that would be bril

short the two wires on the sender together (with ignition on) the fuel gauge should go all the way up. that way you will determine if the problem is the sender or the gauge
