I recently bought an aston filler cap from huddersfield spares, and within a week it has already started getting rust pitting on it. What do i do????????

well i dont think you can do a lot, mines started doing it, just give it a good t-cut then cover it in vaseline to stop it from doing it anymore than it already has..

thats what iv done but used duck oil instead

i have used autosol on it and covered it in SAS spray but it just came back

belgom alu is the only stuff that has any chance of protecting it... take it off and let it warm up indoors first though as in this weather you'll be trapping moisture in the pits and have no chance.

if you're not happy, send it back.
