Hi, Yesterday i was given another mini, its been garaged, off the road for 9 years now, the only problem was the vaccum pipe for the advance had snapped off. i stuck match sticks in both holes and it then started with minimal effort after we had got the fuel flowing through. Its got all its mot's. one owner from new, and was last taxed in 98. Its a absolutley 100% standard 1987 city e. underneath it was undersealed when new by its owner, a friend of my dads and if you chip some of it off undeneath its still got all the paint on.
What needs doing:
New exhaust
Vacuum pipe
tyres
timing
and a big clean!!!
The only bodywork that needs doing is both doors as these are full of holes at the bottom. and a dent just behind the drivers door. other than these the car is preety much immaculate. I expect ill find a few scraches and scuffs underneath the 9 years of dust when i clean it but over all its preety good.
