I'm sure I've heard about people converting minis into fire-breathing mid engined, rear wheel drive, monsters....

But does anyone know of a site on the web detailing the projects?

I'm just curious about the engineering problems and solutions!

my mate is half way through doing a cvh turbo mid engine similar to the green one of Stuart Meads although simons is only 1300cc at the minute but it maybe getting a 1800cvh turbo conversion. it was started by simon and his mate but since simon has fallen out with said mate and know its going to have the rear subframe re-designed amongst other things. will be done for the end of this year but his mrs's a+ turbo conversion is needing to be done before to keep her happy

The green one of Stuart Meads runs an rst with direct port nos its mentally fast on the quarter. simon started his just to have some fun in as you said tho should be quick. he is getting a new 16v turbo engine for 1 of his frst's and his existing 1800 cvh turbo is now destined to the mini.
