Hi everyone,
The date for this years Mini in the Park is Sunday 17th August.
You can come on Saturday 16th and camp, and we will have some fun stuff for those of you who do.
This year the venue is Santa Pod which we feel offers us a lot more scope for the entertainment we want to provide
Thanks to all of you who braved the horrendous weather last year.
The website goes live with further information at the begining of February.
Tickets in advance are £9 call 01225 732 262 or go to the website www.miniinthepark.co.uk and £12 on the day
Camping is £5 and you can arrive at 12 noon on the Saturday and the show on Sunday runs from 9-5

Were you at last years MITP? Most people reffered to it as MITS (Mini in the Swamp).

A bit of wet and mud is one thing, but when you start to get worried that you might not get your Mini out of a field you know it's bad!

It's a show so it's open to anyone. I think you can get on the TMF stand even if your Mini isn't a trailer queen.

i'd be up for this, had fun in the mud, my mini doesn't get to play in mud on a normal day but it WAS a show after all, i was told put your foot down and DON'T stop with NO inner wings the engine bay took some cleaning after that

I thought it was low revs and don't stop

I didn't get stuck ... Until the person in front of me got stuck and I had to stop in the mud Doh!

the bird on the enternce said some have got stuck so get some speed up before up get there, so it was 2nd gear foot to floor and mud and water everywhere, must have looked great, just wished i hadn't bothered washing and polishing him that morning

Second gear low revs means you can actually move

My car was a bit poorly as I found out the following week so it's a good job I didn't thrash it around...

, steve u cheeky buggar, now it's matt i don't but i used to polish that bad boy for shows, not on the same scale as u karl and emma but hey the cloth did come out, (just not at every petrol staion along the way) hehe
