hmm, some cibie retailers may have some, if not you could try daemontweeks or give p&l minis a call and they may be able to help. Failing that you could try ebay or post up a wanted add.

Yeah i want these too. Heres my diagram i drew of how they fit. Just make your own brackets is the cheapest way. I couldn't find anywhere making them specifically for minis though. I found ford ones but they were about £90 a set. Theres pretty easy to make - consisting of 4 strips of about 4mm thick steel, bent into position in a vice. Holes drilled throughthem in revelant places then welded together with the addition of a flat mounting plate.

As you can see the just bolt through the slam panel and the front panel. The red dot represents welding - to weld parts 1 and 2 together or you could make parts 1 and 2 from one piece of metal then weld on a flat piece. Don't be put off if you dont know how to weld - I dont and was just planning on getting a local welder to do it for me.

ahhhh Thanks asteroth! Saloon and clubman fittings and there onky £27.95 inc postage!

Only thing that puts me off with them is that there very high mounting. Judging by those pics the top set of lamps would be sticking up above the bonnet!

nice one asteroth, had a look on the site and i think 'personally' they dont look very sturdy, and the lights will prob vibrate all over the shop. iv got an idea minimadmike... ill pm you in a bit, i think i could get some strong ones made.. would you be interested?

I think it depends on what sort of lights your using as to whether they'd bounce about. If your using hefty 8" cibies then they might - but if your using smaller lamps like some slim wipac 5" spots/fogs i doubt that they'll move much. They'll be pretty sturdy i reckon.

The only problem with getting some made is getting all the measurments and angles right.

Depending on price though, yeah i'd be intrested. I wouldn't be prepared to pay over £20 though really - considering you can get tryed and tested versions that'll have the right measuements and a nice professional finish for that price.

minimadmike - been doing a bit of research and it looks like its gonna be cheaper to buy the 2up and 2down spotlight bar from MRA Minis, as getting the metal, painting etc wont be cost effective considering they can do them for £20! sorry bowt that :D

Yeah i reckon the MRA minis brackets are a good price.

I've decided not to go for 2up2down now anyway - It was working out pretty expencive for something - that if im honest - i don't really need. Instead i'm going for something more like this:

Then if i want to go 2up2down in the future i can reuse those lamps and just buy another set and the MRA minis brackets.
