The Mini celebrated its 35th birthday on the Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend, the begining of week 35

This event happened on the Noel Edmunds late breakfast show in May 1986.

I watched that program and there were people inside, in the boot, stood on the engine and piled on the roof, and yes they did do itThe record for a Mini cram was 66 people.
