Hi,

Can you help?

Looking at the history file on my 1969 cooper it says that the car has a 567 cam, i belive that this is also known as the 948 cam, as fitted to the 997 cooper , is this different to the cam that was originally fitted to my 998 cooper, and if so is there a performance benefit?, please enlighten me.

Cheers

rick

all i can find is a reference to the cams that the cars should have.

the 997cc engine should have 12A 122, 2A 948 or 88G 229 (spec the same for all three)

998cc should have AEA 630 or 12G 165

1071cc should have AEG 148

970cc engine should have same as 1071 engine

1275cc engine should have AEG 148 or AEG 510

not a clue about how the cams would effect things performance wise
