Hi all,

Cleaned a piston up and what i thought was a 1380 may not be.........

Can anyone tell me what type (make) etc this is

AE 21251 + 40 EIF (the A and the E are joined)

Shoul be + 040 no + 40 as above

I think it may be a 1330? not sure though..... panicking now as hope its not a normal 1275!!!!!

I think they are 1275 pistons that have been bored out to +40 which would make it a 1312.

Engine was bought as a 1380, thought the + 60 made it a 1380 and a + 40 made it a 1330?

Yup, a +0.040" gives around the 1310 mark, deffo not 1380.

If I were you, I'd see about taking the block to +0.060" if possible (depending on condition) and going for the more popular 1330cc
