hi i purchased a carb off ebay recently and i was after putting it on my mini i was just wondering where the throttle cable goes? has anyone got any pictures its a dellorto 45mm

You need some form of bracket. The usual type mounts over the top of the carb. Most Mini specialists sell them for Webers but don't list one specifically for a Dell'orto. Any that mount using the carb flange rather than to the body should work though. Phone Mini Spares or somebody and check.

That carb's going to be way over the top for a 998, if it's the engine in your blurb that you're fitting it to. Also that manifold will strangle it a fair bit.

oui, dont fit that on a 998, DCOE40 or delorto 40.

my mini is having more performance work done to get use out of the carb how much am i looking for about the throttle plate?

no matter how big you make a 998 a 45 carb will be too big. 45's are too big for some low performance 1380s.

You even run 1071's and 1187's on 40 carbs.

isnt that because you have 'tuning the mini' or something like that? rather than 'tuning the A series'
