In keeping with the getting rid of useless minis theme, I've decided to chop the ass of the mk2 and make a really low budget trailer, just so i can carry some stuff around.
The problem right now is that the mk2 is sitting on hydrolastic
I want to steal that suspension and use it on my clubbie, so are the subframes a straight swap? i.e in/out and reconnect the hoses?
After that's done do I chop the car in half first and then remove the roof? Or the other way round? What bracing will the trailer need if any while removing bits of the car? After chopping I'll weld in a plate across the front maybe with a small bar too for lateral strength, but like I said this trailer is a low budget thing, so if it tweaks, who cares?
Need these resolved quickly
