Oh my god I'm being driven crazy by my mini lol :D
The drivers side door has this annoying and VERY constant rattle which sounds like the door is open. Its so distracting that I actually have to pull over to check that the door is actually shut. Any ideas what it could be? I tried locking and unlocking the door and that did nothing, and the door still closes nicely with a good clunk lol

My drivers door did that, it turned out to be the top door hinge. If you grab the end of the door and try to lift, you might be able to feel the play in the hinges.

Same for me.

It was where I'd removed the little anti vibration pad things that go behind the rod that locks and unlocks the door from inside!!

It's not the window rattling in the door frame is it?

To be honest, I've not idea what it actually is. It sounds kinda heavier than the window though, although i'll try driving around with the window down, see if that helps. Althought the problem is pretty intermittent, so I dont know :shifty:

The seat belt rattling? I think that's what mine is, all I know it's pretty annoying.

Oooh aay, may be the rear seat belts as well. I tuck mine in the rear seats so they don't move around/clank/rattle.

Minis are great, once you find the source of one rattle, another one appears!

My drivers door did that, it turned out to be the top door hinge. If you grab the end of the door and try to lift, you might be able to feel the play in the hinges.

You can also tell by watching what happens to your door as you open it. Once it gets as far as it can, if you see it drop slightly, it is pulling a bit on the top hinge. My passenger door does it, I keep telling the passengers to be careful but no one listens to me. The doors are coming off son though so I can drill necessary holes for central locking.

Nooo I dont think the seatbelts would do it. The doors open fine, nice and straight.
