Hi I got one of those home made dash guides from eBay and just wondering how to remove the dash cowel (? - the plastic thing around the speedo). by the way - thats not my interior I have one without a dash.

take your pod out and the screws are behind it!

Its not too hard
I had to take my fuse box off.
The bolts go thrugh into the engine bay, Thats if you want to take the Whole pod and brackets off. If you wana leave the brackets on. The its just a few screws on the pod..

Im thinking of geting a dash off ebay. but in Mini magazine theres a company doing a matching silver dashboard and Center console for £130

I bought one of those build you own kits, the ones you make yourself out of MDF I thought I might as well give it a go it was only £3. Thanks for the advice.
