I've seen some Z car fuel supplies without a swirl pot and just a high pressure pump, not the usual low pressure pump, swirl pot, high pressure etc.....
Anyone else done the set up I've attached?

shouldnt the fuel pressure regulator be between the pump and the fuel rail ? my pump runs at 5 bar and I have to regulate it down to 2.7 bar for my R1. fuel rail

I'm not using a swirl pot in the initial instance - may add later if problems arise.

Pressure reg goes at the end of the rail so there is no restriction in the supply line and all the injectors get good flow and pressure.

The diagram above looks ok to me, one thing i would like to do is put a small pick up sump in the bottom of the tank as you do suffer from fuel starvation on the last gallon or so

ive swirl potted mine, only problem you can come across is if the facet fuel pump breaks down . you wont know about it till your far away from your house (1 and a bit litre away)

ive sovled this problem by having a LED light that comes on when the pump is working at the front . so i know if it stops working and i need to get it somewhere quickly IE ) back home.

facet pumps are a pain. they work forever , but when they break , THEY BREAK, no warning signs.

im running a Bosch high presssure pump to my engine , 43psi GSXR 1000cc K4

Why not run a back-up Facet pump parallel fuel circuit, separate switch? Facet pumps are cheap.
