Yes I am, Alan - I was going to drive down on the day, then got the shakes thinking of driving from Cambridge to Crystal Palace, then get in a queue of a million Minis and drive to Brighton - I don't think me old legs would take it! A leisurely drive on the Saturday is much more sensible! As it is, I'll either have to make the trek back to Cambs on the Sunday night, or find somewhere to stay in Brighton - and take another day off work on the Monday!Look froward to seeing you both there! I'm number 2029! Are you camping at Crystal Palace??

I presume you can still go to this event and look even if your not taking part?!
Im not running but really fancied going along and having a look at it all ready for next years event. Can you still turn up at either end and have a look at everything like a normal show?

Stace - you cant get your car into Crystal Palace unless you are a 'runner' with a number etc. But there is an unofficial car park thingy near by that some people gather in on the Sunday morning and join in the run. Have to be careful with this one as the officials are trying to release over 2000 cars from Crystal Palace onto the road - you would have to nip in quick!!
At Brighton - again the 'non runners' cannot get their car onto Madiera Drive and have to find somewhere else to park - but the show on Madiera Drive is open to all. Its a good show and worth going if you can make it!!
SMAC - more like beware of the smac runners
dunno my run number - I put it in a safe place :erm:
I'm camping over Alan......see you there!!!

PMSL Jammy You are quick with your jokes, very funny.
I will come along, not worried about showing my car as I wouldnt have had much time to do anything to it, would just like to have a walk round and look at all the others, also take the chance to meet some folk and get to know the place before joining in the next years event.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It can start off as a nice normal, clean post and then when you and a certain few others.............(who shall remain namless :cheese: ) get into the swing of things, it soon becomes the complete opposite!
Glad to see you are doing so well though, keep up the good work!
