I was thinking about buying new seats for my mini but it doesnt really fit into the "budget" :gasp: then my mum said that she would like to make some covers for them, I thought it would look a little cheap. Someone mentioned Mini Trimmings are these guys any good?? any bad experience with them?? (I heard they changed their name) :) The other option are Huddersfield Spares who also sell black door cards for £54  I think its for a whole set??

What do you guys think?

Also does anyone know if any of the covers come with foam padding or anyone know where it is available as my seats are all soft. :)

Back seat covers are easy to make and clip on the horizontal one and glue on teh bottom one, you can't go wrong, front ones are just like a glove so shouldnt be to difficult. get a material you like and your mum can probably do a good job, I mean I did it and I am rubbish with anything like that. :)

I'm getting mine upholstered... standard rear bench, metro GTI front seats with black nearly leather (leather costs a lot you know!) and white/silver (havent decided yet) piping. He makes the back seats into mini buckets too!! Cant wait!

On a cheaper note... Argos sell black covers for 30 quid that r black.. kind of PVC like but they have served me well all this time!

the only reason I could think of for cushoins in a guys mini is for making a girl more comfortable when she's lying on her back on the rear seats....
