hi people, i want to change the colour of my mini when it gets painted but am not sure yet what i want! i like different coloured roofs and its getting some grp 2 arches. Any ideas what would look good, i was thinking a black body with dull silver roof and arches but i know black is tricky to paint so was thinking maybe a flame red with black roof but i don't know! Anyone got any ideas?

to be honest that colour looks ace (though it's hard to tell quite what it is) I think a solid blue/grey with black roof and arches would look the sex ... Or do you really not like the kind of colour it is?

i love the wheels, think i will paint them black though!
Yeah i was thinking a dark blue with a black roof and arches or mayb a dark red with black roof and arches.
Im not sure on the current colour to be honest!

stick a post in "digital mini" ask people to experiment with different colors but you will need a hi res pic. in the day light. also decide if you want the color to be subtle or POW IN YOUR FACE

Depends what look you're after really. I like the colour as it is, gives it the classic look.

how hard would it be to keep my current wheels but make them fit the grp 2 arches? i take it i would need spacers, i love my wheels and i think a lick of paint would really make them look great!

I have 12x5 wellers and group 2 arches... they do fit Group 2s are barely any bigger than standard arches

Have you thought about a gun-metal grey type colour? Dark metallic grey with black arches & roof... Not sure how the wheels would fit in then though ... Anyway yes here you are going to find you get alot of what other people like, not what you like If you look in the Mini Photo Album you might find inspiration somewhere in the 70 pages of photos!
