I am just trying to guage interest at the moment, but am planning on publishing a diary specifically for minis. it will be a hard backed spiral bound thingy that will sit in your glove box if you have one :tongue:
i am planning on having space at the front to fill in your personalised car specification, service timetable, along with maybe a directory of mini specialists and also information on what to do when things go wrong, if you have an accident.. the main section will be a week to view diary with the years events already in there for you, as well as a weekly checklist of things to do, such as checking the oil ect, with space for you to write in useful info, such as things to buy, things to fix, and problems encountered and funny noises. the whole idea is for you to have a record that will help you keep your beloved car on the road. you might take it with you when you take it to the garage so you can tell your mini -mechanic, that you car has gone through 5 litres of oil in the last month, it is over heating, and going through water like a rugby team with a hangover!!!!! which will help him/her make a diagnosis....what do you think? and what would you pay for something like this. please note that i am a mini owner myself and an active member of the forum, and not some dodgy business person after free info....oh nearly forgot, there is (hopefully) a link to a couple of pages as an example.

yup i'd definitely have one of them, especially if it has a pic of my car in! :cheese: I expect it wouldn't make it into final print like it does on that example though.

I reckon £10 would be a good price for something of that quality.

actually sir, i would be looking fo nice photos for every page. so i wouldneed about a hundred photos, possibly not all clubmans tee hee but they would be well represented

I'd have one! no problem! As for pictures, I've got loads from shows and thinsg but what about people's permission for their cars image to be used? Maybe you could have TMF members cars in it! that way you'll not have to deal with and irate owner!

I would not put anyones pictures on with out their permission. i just need to get some quotes for printing sorted and take it from there. thanks for the feedback so far. if anyone as has any other ideas for things to put in the book let me know.
