Im currently getting the underneath of the mini clean/bare metal and i want something black that i can just put straight on it (only the under side).

Dont want to paint over it just leave it as it is..

Some kind of anti rust stuff would be good but i realy dont know what to get..

Could someone please provide some exact names of what i should get or maybe even a link.

If I were you I'd get some Hammerite Smooth "direct to metal" paint...
It is an exterior paint, people use it on gates, iron fences etc, it contains a rust inhibitor to attack existing rust and prevent rust from forming

And go over the top of that with Hammerite Waxoyl.
Waxoyl is like a "rubber" type coating, you can paint it on (its really thick) it dries really like rubber so as long as your surface is bone dry before painting it should seal the underneath from the elements for a good while, but I'd recommend doing it once a year to keep everything in order.

You can get the Waxoyl from Halfords, at just under £20 for a 5 litre, and you can get Hammerite from B&Q, places like that.

I would etch prime the surface first, then apply hammerite. Waxoyl underseal is good, you get it in a tin to brush on, or in a can to use with a shutz gun. the latter is better, but you need a compressor to use the gun.

whats a shutz(?) gun and how is it different to a normal gun?

It's a type of gun used to apply stonechip and underseal. Nothing like a spray gun, has about a 5 ml nozzle, so it throws it out!

If you want the best possible result, what I have used is:
Terotex 3000 - this is a high quality rubberized anti stone chip finish, the best you'll get. Goes directly over the metal - need a gun to spray it.
Dinitrol 4941 over the top - this is a thick, wax-based liquid for heavy abrasion areas (I use it over the entire underside of my cars - and believe me, if you think a Mini rusts, try a sixties Ford Mustang...). It's a sort of super-upmarket Waxoyl. I redo the Dinitrol every year, depending on use.

Both quite pricey - for a Mini, I would think around £100 for both.
Then again, how much do rust repairs cost?

I stripped the floor on my car back to bare metal, etched primed it, stone guarded it, painted it in 2k paint then waxoiled all around the seams that was 5 years ago appart from the little scrapes on the floor from where it scrapes on the ground with a little clean the floor is still shinny white.

POR 15, as long as it goes onto the metal first, i think its hard to beat.then stonechip, followed by primer/paint, then waxoyl. tip-if using stonechip, get whatever you need of it, and put it all into 1 container.then get some of your paint your going to use on the car.mix some into the stonechip and then apply.this way, if you get a stone chip, it will still show the colour of your miniwhere its been chipped, instead of the black original colour of the stonechip.
