What festivals is everyone going to this year?

I'm DEFINATELY going to Wacken in Germany...

Also considering going the full weekend at Download, because Judas Priest and The Offspring have just been confirmed!!

Anyone else off to any festivals? Fancy a mini mini-meet at Download anyone?

Chris im sure your brain is on the same wavelength as myself, ive been looking at festivals this evening, im most likely gonna be going to V Festival in Stafford again been for the last 4 years and loved each time....not really thought about any other's...I wouldnt want to risk driving my mini down to a festival leaving it there for 3 days un-attended evil people touching it and eyeing it up....

We took Bumble to Download last year... luckily there isn't MANY idiots at Download so all we got was a bent wing mirror... I was still a bit annoyed at that actually better than what happened to some lass my mate knows, her car got totally trashed

Im not sure yet.

Ive signed up for BH2N this year and we get back from that on 20 Aug. Leeds starts on 22. Get back and go straight to Leeds on the Thursday.

Awesome couple of weeks off work.

All I need to do now is make sure I get the Leeds/Reading tickets.

I might try and get to another one as well, not sure which one yet though.

Not going to Leeds fest, never been because its full of Leeds scum (im authorized to say that)

If we get enough people going to Download I reckon we should make a big list of people coming in Minis and have a meet one of the days??? anyone

do u know when the full play list is going to confirmed...slipknot likly to be there as they have a ne album releaed in the spring would hope KoRn aswell but might not happen bloody home my cr*ppy chemicle romance arent there otherwise there gona get stormed AGAIN

The full bandlist won't be confirmed till about June 10th probably lol but they're releasing a lot of information tomorrow night...

Lol Im not from anywhere near Leeds. We only went to Leeds because we couldn't get Reading tickets. We got coach tickets from London. I was glad I went to Leeds though - the weather was great there. In reading, the fields were flooded etc. We will rpob do the same this year.

As for taking the Mini, I wouldn't do simply becasue there are a lot of *Drunk or yellow human water* people and if anything happened to it I would be livid.

If you're heading over to europe you should (if at all possible!) check out Werchter and/or Hurricane festivals,

Absolutley amazing, more often than not its a better line up of bands, food and drink is cheaper and there are more cool, laid back europeans to get to know!

me and belinda will be going to download along with some of my mates, probably wont travel up in the mini but im more than up for meeting my fellow TMFer's for a few drinks. the lineup should get better, i love watching In Flames, hopefull they will be in the tent in the evening. i wonder who the special guests are? lol probably blink 182, Avril Lavigne or take that lol
