well the past two days havent been the best in my mini experience!
yesterday on the way the college the engine suddenly cuts out 2 minutes after i'd set off, luckerly there was a layby right next to where i was so slowly roled in there. tired to start it a couple of times and it did but cut out very soon after, even with me reving it. so i called a mechanic who i no and he came out with someone else and found out that the fuel float had got stuck due to some grit getting in, sorting that out by tapping the top of the bit next to carburettor (cant remember what its called but it controls the amount of petrol into the carb, as the float was stuck not enough petrol was getting in hence the started but cutting out).
so thats my 1st bit of bad luck.
my second was today, again driving to college. stopped at the traffic light and my exhuast seemed a bit louder but didnt think anything off it. untill i drove into college where something started raterling loads. had a look underneath and at the end of the exhuast just after the silencer box it has snapped right in to. great i now have a car that sounds like a tractor!
more money to spend on it!!so im getting worried now if tomorrow on the way to college something happens as i can see a theme emerging here..
