Bring back CCC magazine, where it ALL started :withstupid:

sure did and i have that issue.

But i have a feeling that i will not be tempted into buying either of the mags after a 7 year gap.

Anorak mate, i think you missed my post on the last page !

well if your referring to the one about the tent and the poncho....

i can see a link to these things and mini ownership, you camp at the shows, you get wet at the shows etc etc.

i just cant see a link between minis and dogs

but it seems I've upset a few people and their starting to cry so ....................................................

So, can I ask, do you actually WANT to see tents and camping stuff and other loosely-related stuff related to enthusiasts in Mini magazines? or should it just be Mini-related car bits? Poll??

Seriously, I'd be interested to know...

well no, not really. i would rather see mini related stuff only, but the point i was making is that at least there is a small connection to this stuff.

at the end of the day, if i want to go and buy a tent I'll go to a tent shop.

there is so much stuff that is misunderstood in the world of minis that i think there would be loads of things to fill the mags with that would simply educate people on the history of the car.

i'm still amazed that the heritage trust at Gaydon have a mini that is longer and wider than normal, fitted with a K-series engine and still looks like a standard mini... but still it hasn't made it into either of the magazines.... why ????

I agree with the Anorak about Miniworld. I've still got to get round to cancelling my subscription. I'm not interested in dogs, skunks, morroccan lanterns, light up dog leads or any other tat. The people moaning about the people who are moaning about Miniworld are just as bad. Sitting on the fence and letting things slide and not voicing your concerns is wrong. Miniworld is going down the pan. I think a newcomer to the Mini scene could be put off by a lot of the stuff in there, 375bhp V6s and stuff are all fine but what about the newcomer on a budget (which the vast majority are). Not everyone has got mounds of money to chuck at their Mini.

I've seen a detailed article on the K series Mini in a magazine a while back but can't remember which one...........
