anyone got a pic of a 998 with a centre main strap on? i mean a pic of the centre main and strap machined.

looking at mine when i get it done it will encroach on wheree the thrusts sit so i will have to shave them down. does that make sense? show me a pic and it will maybe explain more lol

know what you mean i will look tomorrow and get a picture up. I have a block in the workshop thats been done.

the pictures as requested.
One 1100 centre main cap. I have removed only the bumps you will see that the steel bar is not as wide. I looked at a 1275/ 1380 which I am also doing for someone and the main cap is taller so you have the "ears" still visable which you do not have on the 998/1100.

cool thanks taht hel;ps me out.it was what i had in my head so i fell better now. just need to get the angle grinder out now!!!(joke)

actually i might get the nmachine shop to machine a cut the width of the strap and leave the other bits still attached.

anyone else have any 998 cms pics?
