Here are some before and after pics of my wellington with his new wheels and arches on. For someone like me with no experience they were a pig to put on.

A bodyshop had cut the wings back before the wheels were on, but after putting spacers and longer wheel studs on, the wings needed cut back more. I then

had several ill feelings in the pit of my stomach as i set about my wings with an angle grinder and then drilling holes for the arches.

I only had one mishap and that was snapping a drill bit, but i'm still waiting for this sense of satisfaction that is supposed to come with doing something for yourself.

The truth is i didn't really enjoy it, i felt like one moment away from disaster all the time but it least it saved some money and i think i did a decent job.

Anyway i'll stop waffling.

They look really great!! Much better :D I have silly old chrome arches on my mini that ping around in the wind (they weren't put on very well at all...) - I can't wait to change them!

looks smart, same set up i have got on mine, just remember to polish the machined lip as they can start to pickle quite quickly (mine are 9 months old and startign to show signs :s

in respect of the chrome lip im not a fan. black is a lot more subtle IMHO.
