Really wish I hadn't sold my Pick Up all those years ago. Mine was as rusty as yours - it had been sitting full of wet sand - and I sold it to a guy from Bromsgrove when I didn't have time to finish restoring it.
Would love another, but the prices seem crazy; ah well, maybe after I finish my Park Lane!

So nearly completed all the bodywork - Yay!

Custom loom has been designed and planned, now I've just got to get on with the building of it, without changing my mind as to what's going where

Jacks finally all four wheels. I've never seen this before, as both his rear subframe and mounting panel were found to have rotten away when I bought him.

And here he is, all packed and ready for the journey south...

The trip itself went well, Dad and I set off in convoy at 3am, determined to beat the traffic, as we would only be travelling at around 50mph. We stopped at Donnington Services, had a break and a cuppa before pressing on, arriving at chez Bean at 8am. 230 miles without a hitch-cheers Dad!

Thing is, we both had to get Reggie ready for the trip to SMD, so worked on him all Thursday, and then between SMD last weekend, starting my new job last Monday and a wedding this weekend (congrats, Ryan and Wendy - it was a great day) this has been the first chance I've had to post on here, lol.
So, Jack is sat in his shed, all locked up until I can start work on him again... will keep the thread updated as I do little jobs.

Used like a proper pick-up should be!

Jack looks great on all 4 wheels and you've worked absolute miracles to get him done in time for the move! I think the hard work that you've put into him is so outstanding and despite all the headaches that it's given you, it has really paid off! He just looks superb!
Well done, bay-bee!

Including the infamous Reggie, who won't give him a moment's peace

I'll point him in the direction of his thread later and he can tell you more!
