the minis away for its MOT today, i really hope it doesnt fail as ive not got the cash at the min to chuck at it but i dont see many 17 year old cars sailing straight through.... lets just hope they go easy on the emissions test

The MOT station HAS to by law tune the carb to get it through the emissions. Minis never went through even when new so it will end up all weak and lifeless when you get it back. We have our City having its MOt this weekend then the Hl and Clubby next weekend.

its just passed hell yeah
he said emissions were high but wasnt too bothered as its an old car and could see ti would slow it down too much to get them down!

erm just to get the emissions down and the tester didnt like it being on 10s at the rear as im still waiting for my tyres...

Is that true that mot testers should alter the carb to adjust the emmissions!
Ba$tards!!! the g!t I paid £40 to failed mine and did'nt do anything but shove a probe up the rear end!
