I had a look on MiniResource's forum and they are building a projuect car. It sounds like quite a good idea, they are asking member of their forum to volunteer and help build the car. I like the idea and would help some people feel part of something and bring more attention to this club. Tell me if I'm being a bit silly??

To be honest I was looking at getting a mini with TAX and MOT and building up a 13** engine over the summer in time for Castle Combe, I wouldn't mind using this as TMFs Project Car, I'll pay for everything since I was going to anyway, although if TMF could help to pay for massive stickers or something to put over it?! Just a thought?!

I'm sure some sort of fundraising could be organised just to help pay for more expensive stuff, along with some help and donations from members of the forum maybe..

Best to find a pre 72 shell to avoid road tax... then build that up using a rusty donor car or forum member spare parts..
After that it can be sold to whichever member wants it and profits help the site and forum in general.

I really like this idea, and have wanted to do it for a while i will list some minuses..

it needs to be in the centre of the country,
people need to be willing to help
parts could be expensive
i think u all get the idea

I like this idea too. Make it a van or a pick-up and it could be the support vehicle for the BH2N run..........

I bet between all of us on this forum we have more than a Mini in spares, so it wouldn't be hard to pool our resources.

I have a pick-up that needs a bit of TLC :fear: I'd love to see it on the road! :tongue:
