Hi,

Got a standard exhaust on my 1992 Mayfair. Its got a cat, middle box and back box. Im thinking of changing it, however would like a standard replacement that can just bolt to my cat, but I want like a 2" rolled tailpipe. Ive found that minisport do a few RC40 with both back box and middle section as a direct replacement, but was wondering what else is available?

Can anyone help?

i would go for the RC40 cat back system from minispares (don't forget your discount)

i have a stainless steel one on my mini

it was easy to fit and has lasted about 10 years so far

so would this bolt onto the cat? as in 2 silencers in 1?

http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=36787

bit says this "Rear RC-40 fitted with a pipe to bolt straight on to the catalyst for cars built late 1991 on SPI(not early carb coopers)" but mine is a 1275cc 1992 carb so would this work ok? fit Ok? Ive defineatly got the rubber hangers so its just a case of fitting!

cheers

If i wanted a 3" exit, could i use this exhaust from minisport if i get the cat link pipe? Would this exhaust fit onto my original rubber hangers?

Also would the cat link pipe fit onto my standard exhaust pipework as i measured my stanradrd tailpipe earlier and was only about 1.5"?

Id ideally like a 3" tailpipe with a single back box that will bolt onto my original stanrdard rover cat and downpipe is this possible?

Avoid Mini Sport exhausts at all costs! They are poor quality and an awful fit. As suggested above, got for a Mini Spares one.
